One of our best clients in the oil and gas industry is looking to expand their team in Istanbul, Turkey!

Overview of the role:

As part of the Information Security team, working closely with Information Technology team, the IAM (Identity and Access Management) Analyst oversees the development, implementation, and daily support of IAM practices, programs, and procedures.

He/She applies expertise to analyse, design, and support a continuous monitoring approach to verify and validate appropriate user privileges, assigned credentials and appropriately granted resource access rights to users, following least privileges and need to know principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Joiner/Mover/Leaver process: support the HR employee lifecycle process and manage identities and related permissions across the information system and business applications, based on profiles defined in the HRMS (Workday).
  • Integration: Integrate any new internal or external application into our central authentication system, and manage users permissions.
  • Identity alerts monitoring and response: Investigate events received from different security systems and solutions (Microsoft Identity Protection, Varonis, Palo Alto Cortex XDR), identify false positives and react following processes in place.
  • Suspicious behaviours analysis: investigate specific use cases, by using technical tools and contacting users when necessary.
  • Users access review: perform regular users access and permissions review against Active Directory, business applications and other internal and external services used across the company.
  • Assistance to users: be the first point of contact for authentication-related issues (e.g. password reset, MFA enrolment, remote access authentication troubleshooting).
  • User awareness: explain, convince and onboard users across the organization on IAM concepts.
  • Privileged accesses: be involved in privileged identity management.
  • Continuous improvement: propose and implement improvements in any IAM-related process.
  • Documentation: create and maintain documentation and knowledge base related to IAM processes.
  • Audit: participate to internal and external audits, by providing evidence of access controls when required.
  • Security watch: maintain an up-to-date and good knowledge of current threats, vulnerabilities and best practices in the information security field and help in prioritizing activities across the team.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT / Security related field.
  • Proven technical experience in Active Directory, Azure and M365 environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in security administration operations, provisioning systems, tools and processes.
  • Experience of Identity Governance & Administration, Access Management & Federation.

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Deep knowledge of security best practices and challenges.
  • Excellent understanding of managing identity and access management technology solutions including integrations, application deployments and operational management.
  • Proven expertise in Active Directory, Azure AD, M365 and identity management products.
  • Clear control of SSO, RBAC, MFA, Identity federation concepts.
  • Familiar with use of ticketing systems (i.e. ServiceNow).
